Attorney. Died circa 1878. Atilano Sánchez Garayo was admitted to the Mexican bar in 1812, and in 1817 was named chief notary of the Juzgado de Testamentos, Capellanías, y Obras Pías. He became a full member of the Colegio de Abogados in 1828. In 1844 he was made a voting member of the Junta de Minerías; in 1850, as its benefactors' legal representative, he published two pamphlets defending their interests against government encroachment.
